Being understood through the guidance of the Holy Spirit...
Fortifying confidence in the Holy Scriptures...
Unifying the Body of Christ...
Building the Saints in Faith, Hope & Love...
To discern & adopt God’s prophetic plan...
To be obedient & pleasing to God!
Considering the exhortations & blessings attached to Bible study,
the Church truly needs to have an ear to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying through the prophecies. As we rapidly approach a time of major fulfillment, professing Christians will fall into TWO categories..
Those who understand what's going on & those who don’t!
Considering these essentials of worship... In many Churches, they are sadly lacking, misunderstood or understated. An understanding & realisation of prophetic truths in scripture should redress this imbalance.
The Revelation of John, for example, presents the believer with the...
Praying & Interceding to God through the Lord, Jesus Christ is:
Another Primary Function of Holy Church...
Conducted according to Holy Scripture...
Achieved by direction of the Holy Spirit...
Essential to edify the Body of Christ...
To uphold Victory over Satan, in vigilance...
Directed, using prophecy as a battle plan...
Acceptable, pleasing, edifying to God!
Considering these essentials of prayer... For many churches, a basic understanding of prophecy could effect a major revolution, bringing about a more fervent commitment in prayer. A realisation of prophetic truths serves to unite, building up in faith, hope & love, & the eradication of Satan’s strongholds.
Jesus along with the Apostles & Prophets lead & direct us, (with insight, of the victory already won), to...
Watch and pray...
Pray always - in the Spirit...
Be sober, & watch unto prayer...
Rejoice in hope continue instant in prayer...
Continue in prayer with thanksgiving...
Believe that you shall receive...
Offer prayers, intercessions, thanks, for all men!
...Presenting a model for Church prayer!
Who, therefore, being watchful, can fail to...
Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit?
Pray according to the Word of God?
Pray the victory, through Jesus’ Blood?
Pray to Edify & Bless the Church?
Pray for His Coming Again in Glory?
Pray for the Establishment of the Kingdom?
Pray in a way that is pleasing to the Lord?
Only the fearful, unbelieving, & the abominable!

Philippians 4:6
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Matthew 21:22
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1 Timothy 2: 1-5
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Matthew 24:14
Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
Joel 3: 13-14
Bringing unbelievers to God through the Lord, Jesus Christ is:
The Commission & Mission of a Holy Church
In obedience to the truth of Holy Scripture
Directed by the guidance of the Holy Spirit
Accomplished by preaching the Word
The outworking & fulfillment of prophecy
Conducted using testimony & prophecy
Is acceptable, pleasing, edifying to God!
Considering the Great Commission of Evangelism... Some Churches can often negate evangelism, others can overemphasize it to the extent of pursuing unrealistic & unattainable goals - leading often to disillusionment. An understanding & realisation of God’s prophetic word will help restore the balance.
Only: "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me".
Mark 8:38
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Matthew 9:37-38
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28: 19- 20
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
1 Corinthians 9:22
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
Revelation 14:15
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
Good Works accomplished...In the name of Jesus Christ are:
Another Primary Function of a Holy Church...
Directed by the Truth of Holy Scripture...
Achieved by the Grace of the Holy Spirit...
A practical display of Faith, Hope & Love...
Demonstrating the Revealed Will of God...
A Means of Reward, BUT NOT of Salvation...
Performed for the Glory & Blessing of God!
Considering these essentials of works... Churches falsely, either, see works as a way of salvation, or so accentuate grace, that works are ignored. Prophecy reveals a period of intense persecution against Christians, at the close of the Church age. An ideal opportunity is presented to put unbelievers to shame through the demonstration of good works.
Scripture balances the view on works which:
Are Essentially for the Glorification of God...
Are Edifying to the Church/Body of Christ...
Are an Opportunity to do Greater Works...
Are a Means of Confounding Unbelievers...
Are Forever with the Saints in Glory...
Are a Means for Perfection of the Saints...
Are God’s Channel of Love, Mercy & Grace!
...Presenting a basis for works in the Church.
Who can fail therefore to...
Be a Means by which God is Glorified?
Be Active in Blessing the Church?
Be Courageous in Doing Greater Works?
Be Bold in Confounding Unbelievers?
Be Prepared for His Coming Again in Glory?
Be Perfected for His Coming Kingdom?
Be a Channel of God’s Love, Mercy & Grace?
Only those whose candlestick is removed!
Revelation 3:16
For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
Psalms 33:4
That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
Psalms 78:7
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
John 14:12
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Matthew 16:27
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
1 Timothy 6:18
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Titus 2:14-15
Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
1 Peter 2:12
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Revelation 3:8
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Liturgies, (the written established form of Church service), used by the
traditional mainline Churches. Are based on the Holy Bible and as such
could be considered to breathe scripture. Considering the prophetic
content of scripture, it follows, that a stream of prophetic truth is
contained, & confessed throughout in these liturgies.
One key element in these liturgies is the confession of faith known as the Nicene Creed. Dating back to the early Church fathers, who in 325 A.D., at the Council of Nicea, expressed a statement of faith which encompassed the essential and critical beliefs of the Church. Introduced to combat heresies being propagated within the Church, (particularly by Origen). Throughout the Church Age it has been used as a statement of faith by Christians universally. The complete version is sometimes used, but more often it can be in a shortened condensed form.
And He shall come in glory to judge both the quick and the dead
Refers to: Acts 10:42 & Timothy 4:1 Inspiring the Nicene Creed. This establishes the faith of the Church... not just in a SECOND COMING, but in a RESURRECTION of the DEAD & a KINGDOM that will have NO END!
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And
of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the
only-begotten Son of God, begotten of His father before all worlds. God
of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten not made.
Being of one substance with the Father, By Whom all things were made.
Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, And was
incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, And was made man, And
was crucified also for us under Pontious Pilate. He suffered and was
buried, And the third day he rose again according to the scriptures
and ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of the Father,
And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead:
Whose kingdom shall have no end, And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the
Lord and Giver of life, Who proceedeth from the Father and the Son,
Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified,
Who spake by the prophets, And I believe in one Holy and Catholic and
Apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
And I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to
come.
Consider now the most well known Christian prayer of all... the Lord’s Prayer clearly when considering the petition thy kingdom come thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, it is a bold statement of faith, made throughout this Church Age that God’s Kingdom will come! Recognizing also, that presently the will of God is only being fulfilled imperfectly, (mainly in the lives of believers), due to the evil and wickedness that prevails in the world.
The Lord’s Prayer...
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name; thy kingdom come; Thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever,
AMEN
Another point to consider is that in the same way that the first coming of Christ occurred during the lifetime of a particular generation of people, similarly, the Blessed Hope or Second Coming likewise must occur at a specific point in time. It is not some nebulous concept, perhaps existing in another dimension in time and space. The Lord’s prayer finishes affirming and looking for the Kingdom acknowledging God’s sovereignty.
Another example of prophetic proclamations in the liturgy is the exclamation of the Mystery of the Faith This clearly proclaims the Faith of the Church in the Blessed Hope,
the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Mystery of the Faith...
Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again!
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to
God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that
diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
During the course of His earthly ministry, a ministry aimed at addressing problems of sin in the world; Jesus was confronted with sinners of every persuasion, adulterous women, thieving tax collectors, as well as all the other outcasts. Throughout His ministry, Jesus treated all these sinners with compassion and understanding. Telling the adulterous woman, To go and sin no more, and even inviting Zacchaeus to have a meal with him. However, the sinners that Jesus had particular derision for were the Scribes & Pharisees whom, recognizing their hypocrisy, called them names like... generation of vipers; whited sepulchres; dead men's bones; etc.
Hypocrisy - Dictionary definition...
The deceitful assumption of virtue, also the pretense of having qualities and characteristics that one does not in fact possess.
Considering the faith of many church members it would probably be appropriate to use similar statements as words of rebuke. Certainly, anyone who stands in the temple of God (or a dedicated place of worship), and affirms, for example the Nicene Creed, yet not really believing these truths about Jesus coming again in glory to judge both the quick and the dead, could be termed a hypocrite. A common day cliché says talk is cheap. When it is in fact very costly. With the power of life and death being in the tongue. We are, therefore, accountable to God for All words spoken!
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be
condemned.
Matthew 12:37
For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psalms 133:1
Keeping the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace is:
A demand placed upon a Holy Church...
Obeying the Commands of Holy Scripture...
Accomplished through the Holy Spirit...
Essential to edify the Body of Christ
A means of being Filled with Joy...
A preparation for God’s Prophetic Plan...
Acceptable, pleasing, edifying to God
Considering the commands regarding unity... In many churches, an attention to prophecy could effect a major change in attitudes & relationships toward one another. Knowing that persecution is coming upon the True Church. This can only serve to unite & empower the brethren in Love, Hope & Truth.
Jesus & the Apostles command the Church to: Love one another...
As God loves us, as Jesus loves us
To demonstrate that God dwells in us
To increase and abound in LOVE
To show LOVE toward ALL men
With a pure heart & fervently
Following a NEW Commandment
That His LOVE is perfected in us!
...Presenting an outline for Church unity
Who, therefore can fail to...
Seek unity in the power of the Holy Spirit?
Love, in obedience to the Word of God?
Love those of the Household of God?
Love the "5-Fold" Ministers of the Church?
Love the Children of Abraham, the Jews?
Love those of every Tribe, Nation & Race?
Love as to be pleasing to the Lord?
Only those who are of the Synagogue of Satan!
Revelation 2:9; 3:9;
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Ephesians 4:1-6
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15: 9-13
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Ephesians 4:11-13
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
