Prayer for the Innocents
Just as the blood of Abel cries out for vengeance from the ground,
the slaughter of these innocent souls makes an even louder sound;
So let all of us who trust in God and the power of Christ’s shed blood,
now turn to Him in fervent prayer, storming Heaven with a flood!Let all of those with conscience, with sound minds and a pure heart,
turn to God in intercession, remembering all the families torn apart,
with impassioned pleadings and petitions, pray to His throne above,
Lift up those hands and raise your voice, proclaiming God is Love!Intercede for the mindless terrorists, who say it’s a "Jihad",
pray that God will turn their hearts, from being sad, and mad and bad,
pray for all their precious children, who by such hatred are offended,
that they will know the blessed hope, the great day when all is mended!As our hearts cry out to God for those massacred in their prime,
